Question: What do you think is the best solution to future unemployment once companies replace workers with machines?

Answer: The best answer to this is you, and that applies to all of us universally. If you think some line of work that you are interested in is going to become redundant, then you need to think of what new value-added things you can do to make yourself valuable in the labor market. Each individual’s commitment to self-responsibility and self-development is the solution to the unemployment prospects. I’d suggest, though, that a positive response is better to see the new tools, robotics and artificial intelligence, as a set of cool, new machines and powerful tools that you can use, that are going to open new doors for you, and can make you better at and more productive at whatever it is you want to do. They are your friends, not your enemies. Self-development is always the answer to unemployment.
